Guys, my dad, being the legend he is, bought some 5lb plates to make a 28lb wfd for me to practise with. He has modified an adjustable dumbell bar to put the plates on and will drill a hole through the solid bar to fit a handle. My question basically is, how long is the weight allowed to be? I'm sure there is a length limit, just can't find it. Any help or tips appreciated. Jonathan |

Here are the ones that I made. I have replaced the pvc handles with steel rings now and had to reset all the plates to get them to the right wt. http://www.nasgaweb.com/forums/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=780 &KW=weight Terry Lawson |

Thanks Wayne and Terry. We pretty much got the idea from Terry's thread. Wayne I said to my dad I was sure it was 45cm which is bang on 18 inches, but he wanted a sure answer. Thanks. Soon I'll be winging it over 80 feet

If you're shooting for 80, better make the goal 95. Always aim high. |

If you made like mine, you should not throw it 80'. There is no way of knowing if it will stay together! Lord knows I cant throw it even near that! Terry Lawson |

Haha ok fine. Considering I've only thrown one 52 feet, 80 is going to take a while! Got age on my side. Ryan Vierra's going to be shaking in his boots
