I remember using chalk at some games, and I thought it really worked. any idea where to get it?

Sports Authority has it also, not too badly priced either.  Might be able to get it cheaper online though, buying in bulk and all.

Why on earth would you do that?

First it's blue, and second I'm sure it's calcium carbonate and not magnesium carbonate.

Was all I could find at the last minute last year and I havent run out of it yet. It works well enough for now, I doubt that finding the "right" chalk wont add 5 feet to my WFD.

Blue, red, white...it's powdered chalk, gonna be a bit messy no matter what color it is.

btw, it's mostly calcium sulfate, so it still has dessicant properties to keep the hands dry And I can smear it all over my face and run around like Braveheart.

Got to make up for my lack of throwing talent with a bewildering display of pseudohistorical showmanship. hehehe

Really though, I was a bit pissed that Dick's didnt have chalk when they carry a decent amount of weights/equipment. So omw home I was passing by the lumber store and had a V-8 moment,"hey !they got chalk!"
My blue collar roots are showing.
