Tim,  Definitely hook up with Bill "Doc Rock" Crawford - he'll put you on the right path.

And my advice is to get out to the games and just try it - lots of lessons to be learned, and for me who rarely get anyone to train or throw with, I learned most of my technique and got best critiques from throwing at actual games.

It seems like a lot of people are worried about embarrassing themselves or hurting themselves, so they never get out and actually throw at a games - go have a good time and get in as many games as you can!

Tim,

I just got a call about you from Ken S.  I hear you'll be joining my gym. I'm currently on the "recovery" list, but will back in action soon.  As Hapy says, get in touch with Bill C. and get yourself to a games.  This is a "learn as you go" sport.  We're all very supportive of one another and encouraging to "Newbies" like yourself.

I'd be glad to give you some pointers.

-Denise
