Does anyone know what the events will be?  Sheaf?  Heavy or light hammer?

The events are listed (verbatim from the application) as:

Wt for Height
Wt for Distance
Wt for Distance
Stone
Hammer Throw
Caber Toss
Sheaf Toss

Last year, this translated into the following, for the pros:

Open Stone
Heavy WFD
Light WFD
Light Hammer
Caber
20 lb Sheaf
WOB

Harrison. Last year it was the light hammer for the pros and there is a sheaf. I know some people are asking if they can throw the heavy hammer instead of the light.

There is a possibility that the field for sunday might be full. I don't know if that's the case or not. Tony make sure you talk to Bill before you drive all that way. I sent my information in mid way through July. I don't know how many positions they have for sunday. Hopefully you guys are in though. Hope to see you this weekend.

Dan those "some people" I think want to throw something that will count for the rankings.

You'll like it the first time one of your tosses moves you up a place in a competition.

Of course, it might be a while before that happens.

Tony, does the exceptionally hairy back of the bear look familliar?  SO is there a Sheaf for us? I have only thrown it twice and I think it was a 16 both times. I don't mind the event, it just takes a long time.

Ryan, I am trying to get there in Saturday. I have my first football game that morning, but I should get there in the afternoon. Are you guys staying for the  weekend?

Its not the hair on the back of the Bear thats familiar
to me. That Bear has way too much hair to look like
me anyway. You right too, that the Sheaf does take
way too much time, but we can set the bar high and
go up by two or three foot intervals. Im staying with
Wayne on Sat. night and we are heading over on
Sunday morning. For all those throwing on Sat.,
good luck and wish I could be there.

Hmmmmmmm...

It seems to me that this could lead to the consumption of adult beverages.
