28lb WFD - HB 82'11, KO 82, Lyle Barron 77

Fantastic weekend of throwing. Special thanks for everyone, esp my Dad, for all their hardwork.

Nah. 2 poor throws and a foul on a decent one. KO caught a good one. It is a tough stone.

That's the one.

We used to throw a 20lb open stone but we ditched it in favor of adding the braemar. We now throw a 23lb BS and 17lb OS.

Yes it is.

I'll get the results posted in a day or two. Here is a little blurb from the local newspaper.

I put in most of the results, Greg will toss in the competition caber at some point soon.  Harrison also won the Challenge Caber and Challenge Sheaf.

Drew Garvie won Canadian Juniors and was invited to throw in his first Men's competition.  A day after a full Junior comp and his first Farmer's walk.  Not too shabby.

Thanks to the Hadleys and the whole Antigonish Highland Society for another great year.

Big thanks to Greg, his father and everyone involved in the games.  They treated us like royalty.  Nothing like getting off a plane and not hyaving to worry about renting a car, hotel room or even food for that matter.  Class act and awesome games.
