Ladies and Gents:
I am looking into hosting one of Mike and Mindy Pockoski's throwing camps in the Baltimore metro area (Maryland) and am trying to determine interest before I go much further.  They recently did one in Connecticut which I wasn't able to attend so I have been corresponding with Mike and he says if we can get at least 10 committments he will come and do it.  His camps are 3 days long made up of 3 training sessions per day between 1-1/2 to 2 hours each with a break in between.  The cost of his recent camp was $275 per person.  I know that is a lot of money but to be trained by Mike and Mindy themselves would be awesome.  Please let me know if anyone is interested.

Cheers mates & Semper Fi,
Dale

IF I can get enough people to commit and it fits their schedule I would like to shoot for September.

I did the recent one in CT and I must say it was the best learning experience for highland games throwing and just throwing in general.

I wish I could have done something like this years ago.

I went to the one in CT and if the date works I would definitely show up for this one.

We have talked about doing the same in NorCal. Unfortunately it does not look like we will get the requisite numbers.

OK gang we have a date for the camp.  Mike has been extremely cooperative with me and has adjusted his schedule to work around other events here.  It is October 10, 11, 12 (Friday - Sunday) 2014.  Go to Mike's website for detailed information and sign up at www.hgcontrarianapproach.com/training-camp/ .
If we get the minimum number of people to sign up by August 22, the camp is a go.  If not, he will refund your money.  You can't ask for any more than that.  Lets make this happen!

Fellow Throwers:
I am very sorry to announce that due to circumstances beyond anyone's control on my end, the Mike Pockoski Throwing Camp scheduled for October 10, 11, 12 has to be postponed.  Mike and I are currently working out details to try and reschedule it for the spring of 2015.  Hopefully it will be just before or at the very beginning of the competition season.  Again I am very sorry and I will re-post once the new date is set.
