Does anyone know if it would be legal to hold a fork in my left hand and spin the Sheaf Bag like a spinning WOB? If not, what if I built a fork glove to let me spin the bag like a WOB? Or is this a blatant abuse of the event lol? My PR in 20# Sheaf is 31', but I am 100% sure I can spin the bag higher than that. |

Uhhhh...No.
It must be thrown over the bar with a pitchfork. You should; however, do that for fun and get video. |

Cut off the handle of a fork and bend the tines like a fishhook. Throw the bag and the fork together - voila!

My nephew has some of those Wolverine gloves from X-Men, can I use those to arm the sheaf over a bar? Same principle right? |

We had a guy throw the sheaf AND the fork over the bar one
time......this required a meeting of the judges to decide if that was legal. After much discussion....and the fact he was going to be dead last anyways and this was his only height....we allowed it. However, the guy who's fork he borrowed almost killed him (it was Chad Braden that loaned him his fork). Any of you who remember Chad will know how funny that was. |
