Hey-
We'll start taking entries for MWC 2016 Buffalo on January 1, 2016. I'll try to wrap up the details on MWC STL by end of the year and we can start paperwork for 2016. -K

Mike-
Last few years, we've filled up and shut down registrations when we couldn't field anymore people. Next year may be the same ... unless there's some protest bout somthin' where nobody signs up. We'll fill all the groups and go with whoever signs up. If it takes one month or 5 months, I donno. We'll play it by ear and see how the qualifying distances impact the process. -K |

Average over the last 6 years has been 105 athletes.
That's about where we should be next year and not at 150 or 200. Just for a sustainability level ... we should trend back to the 100-120 range.

Bill-
I'll evaluate the results of the recent MWC and adjust Qualifiers to meet the goal of bringing the event size back down to the average from the last 6 years. It should be closer to 105 than 150 athletes just to keep this thing on the tracks. The split-flights and some other complex things involved in very large groups is not easy to manage so we'll try to solve that puzzle. That should be settled by the time the entry form is ready for MWC 2016. -K

Sure, but you'll need an answer to the question. Can you throw the 42 over the qualifier? -K

so, our qualifying marks will come from 2016 results or 2015? I suspect I will be on the ragged edge of qualifying, based on my 2015 season

Some published guidance I have on hand comes from the United Scottish Athletic Directors Rulebook, 3rd ed, 2008 (pg 8.1). For men's C, Masters, and 190's, the recommended window for cabers goes 14' to 19', 60 - 110 pounds, rating 300 to 700 (other specs on min/max w/l ratio are also listed).

Do these Numbers need to be met by the end of 2015? Or can we sign up Jan 1st and have a certain cutoff date in 2016 to have met the numbers?
