I am a newbie to the Highland Games with only 1 under my belt which was in Indianapolis. I am looking for a website that shows all of the local games as I would like to compete in the following states this year: Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, and Michigan. Any assistance would be GREAT!
Thank you!

There were only a couple games posted on here so I wasn't sure. Will this site be updated as the information comes in? I'm also looking for people that make some of the equipment to practice with.
Thank you in advance for all of your help!

I would look up games that happened last year in those states and then google their individual websites (most have websites) for contact information.

Ancient Athletics is your go-to for Illinois and Merl throws a Games or 2 in Michigan I believe. Dawn Higgins and/or Tracey Mills are your Indy contacts as you know if you were there. I'm sure they wouldn't mind you reaching out to them. No clue on the other states. On the Home page, there is a 'Links' tab you can hit and get a feel for folks who make implements. But mostly, what Craig said. Spend some time on the website and get to know it. It has what you're looking for, you'll just need to spend some time looking. jp

You have to stop doing that Juli, if it worked we'd all be doing it.

Most of the Ohio games are part of the GLSAA. There is a Facebook group that you can join. It'll have all of the info for Ohio games except for OSG which is MASA.

I'm in Indianapolis and there is a small group of us that gets together to practice every couple weeks when it's warm outside. We have all the implements and you're welcome to join us. Shoot me a message if you're interested. As Juli mentioned above, Dawn and Tracey are also great people to reach out to. |
