   Only 10 days left for pre-registration.  Field entrys will only be accepted if room is available.  The board decided to open the gathering for Friday evening, so I'm going to steel a page out of Jeff's book and hold a small "Awkward throw and strongman" for any athletes that wants to come out at 6:00 Friday evening.  After the lifting, The Indulgers will be playing and beer tent should be in full gear.

	Just a quick note to remind everyone that there is only 3 days left for pre-registration for the athletics. If you have not sent your entry in yet, please do so. If you want to make sure that I know your entry is on its way, email or call me with your intent on coming. On Monday August 14 I am finalizing the award and athlete towel order. If I don't know your coming, you won't get a athletes' towel. We have decided to host a awkward throw and strongman event of Friday night starting at 6:00pm at the festival venue. This is ment to be a time for us to socialize with each other in a "less" competitive nature, as well as entertain the crowd before The Indulgers take the stage. We will be competing 1) Guinness keg for distance 2) 28# WFD 3) Rolling Thunder 4) Line Weight lifts 5) anything else fun that we can think of We might try and figure out a way that we can use this as a small fundraiser for C.J. Wright (a fellow thrower who is battling Leukemia). After throwing on Saturday, we will be hosting a Milk can supper at our house. Thank you for your support
