   It's two weeks until the Dixon Scottish Games held in Dixon, CA - outside of Sacramento.

Past competitors should have received their entries in the mail.

World Champion Shannon Hartnett will head up the women's competition. 

We'll have the 5th Annual North American Couple's Championship. The winners will have their names added to the perpetual trophy and take home a quaich. (Is the name over the top? - sure. I didn't name it; does any other games host a married couples championship?)

At lunch we'll have a keg toss for a chance to win a cheesy trophy, and kid's caber tossing.

We'll finish the day with the Scottish Meat Pie Co. challenge caber. No one has claimed the $250 prize for turning the 17'6" x 140# stick (little taper).
