Not done jack sh!t...  Well, I did climb a bunch of stairs in a cave in Branson this weekend...  Knees felt like hell afterwards...  time to start mobility work this week.

Oh, and I get to load up a few thousand pounds of pine trees sometime early this week...

Continuing to do a great deal of nothing.  However, my knees are starting to feel a little better.  Actually feeling good walking up stairs and able to do two steps at a time in a controlled "Step up" type movement.  Mobility & Body Weight (Currently 318#) work to be engaged in this weekend.  That and 1 mile "fun" "run" with my 7 yr old daughter...  Oh that should be lots of "fun"...  Followed by hauling a load of rough cut cabers into town and unloading them...  More "fun".

Ha!  Matt, I did a mile fun run with my 7 and 5 year old boys this summer with a 6 year old friend of the family.  I was at my heaviest of 207.  I will just walk briskly I thought to myself and just keep an eye on them as they trot along.  HA!  The street was packed with people all dressed up in their Boston Marathon gear complete with sponsorship under-armor shirts!  The kids shot from the line like their butts were on fire and a gogurt was waiting for them at the finish line.  I ran a eight minute mile!  Take motrin and have fun.

Got spared the fun run.  Youngest was hacking her lungs out...  Stayed in the car with her.

Went out to pick up rough cut cabers from the Sticks in eastern OK.  Came back with 23 of them.  These are pretty much all spoken for, but might have some more available in the not too distant future.  I might have been a little aggressive in my sizing requested for the logs.  Some of the ones I brought home will require a great deal of work to bring down to a functional size, but they are really straight and clean (very few knots) pine trees.  Most are 20-22' long.  Thank goodness Jim Glover came back to Tulsa with me to help me unload these beasts.  Many (23 reps) of variable weight rack pulls were done.  A few deadlifts from the ground...  They are stacked up nicely and about ready to start the curing process.  I will be painting the ends this week.

Well, just woke up from my Fall hibernation, pretty sure it was the disturbance in the force by Isaac's Sheaf Toss in Florida that woke me up...  Must have had an IV hooked up since I didn't lean out any...  Ah well, things are feeling better.  been doing some BB style work for a few weeks now just trying to get the old stabilizers firing again.  Lots of sets of 10 on basic lifts with some strategic mobility stuff.  Got the trap bar out and played on Saturday...  10x10 with the last 5 at a measly 235#.  Can you say exquisite soreness in the hammies?  I can...  Eyes forward to the new season.

Warmup
TKEs
Paloff (?sp) Presses
Face Pulls

Squats
BW x 10
Bar x 10
135# - 3 x 10
155# - 4 x 10

CGBench
Bar x 10
95# -  2 x 10
115# - 2 x 10
125# - 3 x 10

Weights are small, but it is what I am able to do right now.

Did I mention my dislike for high rep squats in the early AM...  It's not the squatting I don't like, it's the nausea...  Oh well, it's not about doing all the things we enjoy this time of the year...

well, 2-1/2...

it may have been a mistake, it might not have been though.  Much of the nagging stuff is not bothering me...  I actually feel pretty good.  Kick off game (2/23) will be a sh!t show, i'm sure.  I'm looking at it as an early season practice.

But I don't just jump in with a zillion reps.  I work up to it.

Plus I have peasant blood.

I spent the first part of January doing some basic 3 sets of 10 work, just didn't log it...

As for the "Insane" part...  You're making a BIG assumption there...  Work and Home kept me plenty busy.
