Has anyone that uses a traditional full spin ever tried throwing in
throwing shoes off grass? And if so any luck......I'm trying to overhaul
my spin and it's like I forgot everything overnight I'm stayin on my left
too long, leading the spin with my upper body, not building or using
any torque I'm just blowing through the throw release point is about 5'
(I'm 6-5) and I was thinking maybe throwing shoes would make me
slow down and lead my throw with leg and just make me a little more
fluid in the trig.

I haven't used throwing shoes but have used Adidas Sambas in conditions where the grass is dry and short and haven't had any problems.

When the grass is wet or long, it is hard to drive out of the back without slipping, so I would consider wearing a cleat on that foot (left foot for a right handed thrower) and pre-loading the leg to avoid any surprises.  I would then wear a flat shoe like a throwing shoe for your turning foot (right foot) to enable a nice rotation in the middle of the box.

I always throw OS with a cleated left foot and normal shoe right foot.  I like my knee to much to try to spin with a cleat on my right foot.  Beau is right, you have to load the leg coming out of the back, just like throwing in a wet ring.

A throwing shoe may be a little to "fast" or slippery to turn on grass, though I never tried because my normal shoe is much more comfortable then my narrow throwing show.

I'm gonna play with it alittle tonight, thank yall for mentioning loading
the left off the back I forgot all about that, that's probably where my
problems are coming from, it ends up always being the little things that
accidentally get left out... Thanks
