Sean, if at the end of the cycle I rest one day before going back to day one, it fits nicely into a two week cycle...Tuesday to Tuesday or Monday to Monday, and I only go to the gym on the weekend on one of the two Sundays in the cycle. If I don't do that...if I rest two days at the end before going back to Day One, it's a lot more difficult to coordinate this with "life". As in...the gym is important to me, but I have to fit this in with a lot of other stuff, too. What say?

I have a question for you guys in regards to deload weeks and testing. I am going to be making a trip down to Washington in January in order to test my maxes. Should I plan a deload week right before the trip or is it better to do a deload week the week previous and then get a week of lifting in before I test or are both those ideas not ideal. Thanks in advance.

Do it for 6 weeks and see where you are. Yes the RDL's are with one leg and holding a db with opposite hand. There is no reason why you coudn't raise your squat and deadlift maxes with this routine. You should be fully rested and wanting to go to the gym. I bet you like it.
