The Highlands in the Burg committee and the Burchett clan are very excited about the upcoming games in April. We are very happy to have Joey Grieshaber and Jamie Channel as part of the group. Joey is our new athletic director. Our family decided it would be best to hand over the responsibility to him after the founder of the games (Daryl Burchett) passed away this last year. Our family is really looking forward to seeing everyone this April. We still have plenty of room so send in your registration forms.

 Isaac Burchett.

Golly, this would be such a great tune-up for MWC for me; alas, I have a previous engagement that day.

I would also like to thank everyone involved in making this game a success.  It was a long drive for me, but I really enjoyed hanging out and talking with all involved.  This was a thrower centered games and the Burchett family were great hosts.

What a great day!  Daryl would have been so proud of his children.  I'm sure he was smiling down on them.  I sure miss him but I know I will see him again.
Throwing with old friends and making new ones is what this sport is all about.  It was truly a blessed day.

Thanks so much for having me.

Had a great time, met LOTS of new throwers.  Weather was great and throwing at the boom lift is something I have only ever done at The Burg.

(ps, if Braidy says I punched him, it's all a lie!)

((pps, if you can't out throw them try to intimidate them))

Sorry everyone for bein late on puttin the scores up. I was on a steamer bound for Baltimore, then I said, "That's no fun, I've been there before." So I desided to jump ship near Singapore with a cook that Dave knows from Mexico. I got me a bowl of shark-fin soup, I ducked into a bar for a fresh dipped corndog. Then played some Texas stud with Emily's old circus troop and they cleaned me out of dough!! At dawn they all went back to bed so I went to Borneo instead had a hair-of-the dog for my shrunken head with the sultan of Brunei. Then I had a small bit of a seizure on the way to Micronesia. Top it off I got a bad case of amnesia and forgot to say goodbye!! And enter scores!!!

BUT I might have made that up!!!!!
