Greeting one and all.
The athletic directors of Oklahoma have come up with a state championship idea. The Iron Thistle (Okla City) held in April and the Scot Fest (Tulsa) held in Sep, will award a common champion award to the winner of his/her class competing in both of the festivals. We will have only one championship per year. The class' available for the championship are Men's A, Women's Open, Open Masters, & Lightweight 190 and under. This years Champion will be Men's A. Next year we will select a different class. 2 overall wins 1 in Tulsa & 1 at The Thistle are the best scenario for the win, however NASGA will be used in the event of a split and points will be totaled. The award for The Championship of Oklahoma is a Oklahoma tartan kilt, embroidered with the Iron Thistle logo & The Scott Fest logo the State seal and the year. More info later. Thank you for your time, Men's A class 2014 prepare yourselves. Jonathan Irvin AD Iron Thistle Edited by Deakion - 2/17/14 at 9:59am |
