I showed my 4 year old son that video, he asked "why is he throwing a washer and not a hammer."

Haha....honestly I got a 4.8m right before the official attempts. It's super difficult to actually do well as the drum in the machine is moving freely, and that is where more of the weight is. If I'd tried a different technique it would have been an oly hammer style.

Was fun though.

Wayne, we've experimented with more of a putting style here with heavier stones. Anything over 40kg or so you're better off launching off the top of your head rather than from the shoulder.
