Hey Big Ed, on the forms you sent me the cover sheet has the games as April 11 & 12, but the competition Schedule has March 28 and 29. I just want to clarify that the games are on April 11 and 12 with the A,B and Women competing on Saturday (9 am sign-in), Maters Classes, Lightweights, C and Novice on Sunday.

Im so glad you are doing well. I am a year older than you and when I heard about your illness I really had to stop and think about my own health. It's wonderful that you are ok and it made me make efforts to adopt healthier habits, lose weight, drink less, etc... Thank you for that. We are not 20 anymore.

San Antonio will my first games. - Just wondering about rain? Weather forecast says 80% chance of thunderstorms both Sat and Sun. /// do games get canceled because of weather? I hope not. I have been throwing in my back yard and I am ready ---- to get my butt kicked.

In Scotland it rains all the time. Come and prepare to throw. Don't think about getting your butt kicked. Think about how exciting it is to start this macho sport. Think about the great people you will meet and the opportunity to watch how they throw. Good luck.

Per Ed (the Athletic Director) the only reason we don't throw is lighting. The events may get modified if there is heavy enough rain, but they will go on.
Highland Games - The drama is so high, because the stakes are so low.
