  Someone appears to have taken it to the next level with cheap accelerometers and bluetooth:


I don't have one or know anything about it but thought it might interest some of you.

It would be interesting, but for $400....it is not.

ordered one in October.... still waiting
I have messed with other accelerometers... Tendo is still the way to go

when I do get the new device I will give a review on it

there are few other ones out their that I am trying to get info on

Both the tendo and power factor use string potentiometers if I'm not mistaken. I'll be curious to hear how well a small accelerometer works in this application. I had a student a few years back who was working with them (trying to track position by footsteps) and there are many difficulties.

been messing with accelerometers for a bit.... been modifying a fiberglass case to protect it as I have messed with placing it on hammers and weights....

would have done more but last summer got away from me

should have a few things done by the end of this summer
