Hello all. My name is Megan, 27yo. I am a lifter and endurance athlete.
I have no experience throwing things, other than a ball for my dog!
Honestly, some of the events kind of scare me- I'm more of the run 5 miles or Olympic lifting type. But my friends that have attended some events think I would be good at this.
My question would be, where to start? Obviously I would need to learn how to do all of these tosses. Is there somewhere in the Puget Sound area to learn these? How do games athletes train? Would be 3x/week Olympic lifting be sufficient, or would additional training be recommended?

Thanks all, look forward to learning more!
