Greetings: 

My name is Doug McDonald and I am the Athletics Director for Kansas City Scottish Highland Games 2016.  I welcome you to KC this coming Summer.

Our Games is June 11 Saturday and June 12 Sunday.

Kansas City, MO – US Class A IHGF Amateur Caber Tossing Championships

CLASS A – SATURDAY 

  • Costa Mesa, CA – US Class A IHGF Amateur Stone Putting Championships
  • Las Vegas, NV – US Class A IHGF Amateur Weight for Distance Championships
  • Wichita, KS – US Class A IHGF Amateur Weight Over Bar Championships
  • Kansas City, MO – US Class A IHGF Amateur Caber Tossing Championships
  • Spokane, WA – US Class A IHGF Amateur Hammer Throwing Championships

Thanks to Doug and everyone for another great year at KC! 

Brutal heat isn't so much fun, but sure beats rain and swamp-like field conditions that have graced this event at times over my 9 seasons there.
