Important News! the Gaylord Highland Games will be back to the venue we've used at the Otsego County Sportsplex for the first several years. The simple reason is that the Gaylord Regional Airport, where we hosted the Games last year, has run out of room of us because of the overwhelming show they have coming this year. A few weeks ago, the Canadian Snowbirds jet team offered to celebrate their country's 150 anniversary by performing at Gaylord, and shortly after that, the US Airforce offered to send their F16 team, and the Navy offered to send their F18 team, and more helicopters, and so the venue is out of space. Good for them! What it means is that we will be back to familiar ground, at a venue that works well for us with easy access and parking. And, since we'll be just across the freeway from the airshow, we'll get to see a lot of it anyhow! Otherwise, we'll keep things pretty much the same. We will be throwing Saturday, June 17th, and we'll plan our Friday night get together as usual. And the trophies? Well, let's just say we think they'll be a "big hit." Keep tuned for more there.

The Classes contested are Masters, A, B, and Women class.  Registration is open.  To register contact jason.cherry27@gmail.com

There will be a registration fee but it has yet to be determined if it will increase this year; still crunching numbers for our expenses (insurance for example).  Stay tuned.

We provide water, lunch, and truly unique awards for places 1-3 for each class.

Good luck in your training.

Peace.

Jase
