Hey y'all, this is Josh Aydlette, I haven't been very active on the boards or in the Games in a few years, actually surprised my username is still active, so a lot of the newer folk probably won't know me.  Anyway, I just wanted to pass along that Mike Derrick recently passed away.  He fought two hard battles with cancer.  Anybody that knows Mike, knows that he was very active on the Highland Games circuit, predominantly in the Southeast.  He was a great person who was willing to help anybody out, a great competitor (always pushed me, as well as others to get better), and a great husband/father.  Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.  RIP The Real Mike D

Thanks for posting Josh.   I my crew around here to let them know.   Didn't want "The Real Mike D" to be forgotten.   Cut short too soon.
