What's up ladies and gents? My name is Ryan and as the subject stated I'm from the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. I was recently introduced to the Scottish Games by a friend who thinks I should give it a shot. I threw shot in school and attempted hammer throw a couple of times so i'm not totally in the dark for all throwing events just more this style. I'm a short drive away from the Virginia Scottish Games and am planning on attending to see things first hand and ask some questions but I figured this wouldn't be a bad place to start either. I'm just looking for some tips and info or even some people to train with if anyone is in the area and wouldn't mind taking on a new guy. I look forward to meeting some of you and maybe even competing against you one day.
