Hey. I’m 14 years old and throw both shot put (8 pounds) and discus (1 kilogram) in Middle School. For discus, my PR is 95 feet and I average around 87 feet in practice and 80 feet in meets. For shot put, my PR is 9.72 meters (31 feet and 10.5 inches) and I average around 30 feet 5 inches (9.27 meters) in practice and meets. I was wondering how I could train myself to throw 95+ feet consistently? (Note that I do the half spin, not the standing throw or full spin).
