I'm thinking about approaching the promoters of my local county fair about putting on a short simple "strongmanish" contest next year. I wanted to keep the idea to 3 or 4 events with minimal equipment needed. I was thinking about a 2 handed stone throw, a carry (stone) for distance/time, a press for weight (either a series of stones, or a log with weights added) and then Weight Over Bar. Any experience with folks doing something like this?
