What up with that topic "My Deadlift PR"?

Something evil happened when I posted it.

I can't get to it to delete it.

Admin, please help us.

Great! I'm gonna give up on this ... Karma thing.

It says that I don't have permission to post in that forum.

OK, so enough with the suspense, already:  what's your new PR?

(It better be >500 lbs...)

-Wayne

OK, that's weird:  I responded to this thread and it shows up in both threads?  Twilight zone.

Kevin's repeated lies have opened a vortex in the message board.

Just a matter of time before we all are doomed.

Thanks Kevin.

Go Gophers!

Wayne-

I read that world-renowned theoretical physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawkins has given an indication that he plans to revise his opinion that black holes destroy everything that enters into them. He says that once a material body or radiation had fallen into a black hole 'it was gone and lost for ever and the only information remained was its mass and spin.' It has become known as 'the black hole information paradox.'

My guess is that the mass of my 485lb lift was just enough to cause my spin to disappear into a black hole. Never to be seen again.

It appears that the board required 15 more lbs. out of you.  After you pull 500 next week it will self correct

what does that mean in terms of the olympic lifts.... should we test this.  If it does not create the problem does this prove the superiority of deads to cleans?  Or shows that as long as that you do Olympic lifts you do not need to dead heavy?

Hey, Kevin, Jim Spalding pulled 495 just last night!

Maybe that will give you the motivation you need to go for the quarter ton mark.

BTW, just kidding.  I have no idea what Spalding can deadlift....besides, he's 50 now!

Part of this equation must include spinning vs. standing WOB and the value of the sheaf toss to the crowd.
