Looks like I am going to miss another season this year,
but am trying to get a good training routine going and
doing as much as i can with my shoulder as I possibly
can...

Let me know what you think of what I am doing:

Day 1 (upper body):
10x3 Bench Press (am up to 105lb)
10x3 Inclined Press (same 105lb)
5x5 Upright Row (225lb)
5x5 Hise Shrug (335lb)

Day 2 (legs):
5x5x2 step ups (155lb) alternate week box jumps
5x5 safety squat or alternate box safety squat (315lb)
10x2x2 Lunge (155lb)alternate week jump shrugs
5x5 calf raises (315lb)

Day 3(back/core):
5x5 Deadlift (165lb) (ouch!)
10x3x3 reverse hypers/twist (60lb)
5x5 good morning (245lb)

Plus I am doing various shoulder strengthening
exercises...

let me know what you think, i am open to ideas, and like
to mix stuff up, as its going to be another year before I
will be able to throw, I am not too concerned about the
lack of explosive stuff/olympic lifting, but want to
maintain my strength and health levels until my shoulder
is ready for the increased stresses of big deadlifts/oly
lifts and throwing.

yeah, shoulder just not coming around - the 6 months
recovery was based on preoperative guesses, and the
reconstruction was a lot bigger deal than he thought.
Still have quite a bit of instability and pain, plus a
subluxation of my SC joint which he hopes will stabilize
once I regain stability in the shoulder.

Supposed to be 3 more months of basic PT/healing, then I
can start to do some 'throwers rehab' - so maybe I could
do late fall game or 2 if things go well.

I was pretty depressed about the whole thing a couple of
weeks ago, but now that I have a plan I can glimpse the
light at the end of the tunnel way far away, but its
there.

Oh, it'll be the same scene, all right, because he'll be there:  judging, helping out, or just plain hangin' with the guys 'n gals.

We need our Tinky Winky fix.

Right Hapy?

Yeah, tough to keep me off the field, even if I'm not
throwing.
