I usually have no problems and when I do it is usually data entry error. I cannot figur out what is gone wrong and I can't back out what I have done. SO I NEED HELP!
I upload a result file, no problem. Got to the screen where the games is selected,
http://www.nasgaweb.com/dbase/resultsuploadc.asp - http://www.nasgaweb.com/dbase/resultsuploadc.asp
and I select the games (Chuck & Vicki’s Backyard Games & Picnic, Davenport, IA) and the class (amateur) followed by pushing the display results form
I got a message of
The selected Games does not exist for the selected year.
I went to the database and confirmed that the games existed in the data base.
I restarted the procedure but before selecting the game, I press the update the list for this year and then select the game, and class.
unfortunately, I got the same result.
I reviewed the data …. Could not find anything wrong. So I tried it again, same problem.
Decided to download the nasgaresutls.XLS file and re-entered the data. Tried again, same results.
Tried to hand enter the data in, but recieved an error message when submitting the data. Went back to off line dataentry.
Decided to hand enter a name in the database for the game to guarantee the game was there, tried uploading it again. Same Result.
Tried one final time after again reviewing the data, and it worked!!!! but OH SHIT I realized I accidentally selected the Admin Test, Nowhere, CA game.
Now I want to delete the one case in Chuck and Vicki's game entry so I can delete the game and re enter the game to start the process from scratch and I need to clear the data that was entered in the Admin Test, Nowhere, CA game.
To erase or clear out the data, past experience had me clear all the data out for an individual's record and save the results. I submit a blank form, I get the following error
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0006'
Overflow: 'CInt'
/dbase/resultsentry4.asp, line 2274
So now I am stuck... I can't fix my mistakes (clearing out what I have entered) and ran out of possible ideas.
I do not know what went wrong but I need help deleting the entry for Admin Test, Nowhere, CA and deleting maybe CHuck and Vicki's backyard games as I think if I can re enter the games every thing will work.
Thus, I need help from the NASGA Admin gods !
