3/14/18     Lifting some stones

***One of our training partners is gearing up for strongwoman nationals so off to lift some stones with her. It's a pain trying to find a gym with a legit set up and a bunch of stones so we had to head 2 hours to Madison. My brother John also got in the mix being that we were in his neck of the woods. This was my first crack at stone lifting and I guess it went ok***

Everything loaded over a 48" bar cause that's what Steph was working at and it seemed like an ok entry level. Got all sticky with spider tack once things got heavy (for me)

Loading went as such: 175, 175, 175, 175, 200, 200, 200, 235, 235, 260, 260, 275, 275, 275, 300, 300, 300, 307 ***Everything was great up until the 307 which was a much larger diameter than the 260-300s so that was a real butt sucker but it still went over fine. This was fun and I'll probably do it again sometime***

Then I benched a little because this place had a glorious bench...

Bench: 225x10, 315x5, 365x2, 405x1, 405x1, *slingshot* 455x2, 475x2

Ate Red Robin and had a caramel malt then drove home

...Later that evening did my overhead press work out
