Conquored Story Land today with the family.  Ya thats a 40+ mile hike all day.

Ya that Rainbow bridge aint the Bifrost bridge to Asgard!!

Did drill work on getting my feet under me on the sprint and release.  Held a 2"x10"x12' behind the head and did sprints out of the back to the trig.  Working on getting feet around and down fast.

One Turns with the 56 x 15.

Took a 2+ hour nap with my son.  Best training I've done all week!!

HWFD no turns x 5
HWFD one turns x 15
- last 5 or so went much better and I feel like my left foot got down earlier and was able to pull through the throw.
- I was being patient and letting the ball get out in front rather than starting my turn with the ball behind me.  For those that still read this jibberish is that how its supposed to be done?  Had my farthest throws to date with one turn.
WOB x 10 on the 12 foot branch.  Wanted to dial in some accuracy.

HWFD Drills:
No Turns x 5
One Turns x 8 back started to ache....

When back gives me attitude.....the back get the rock.....

not sure on weight.  its dense basalt.  if the pen slab is 408lbs then this is 350+ (based on how big it looked when Doc Rock carried it)

Really worked on getting legs involved....and as video shows....no legs involved....so frustrated....dont know what the answer is......anyone....anyone.....anyone?

WOB x 5 standing
WOB x 10 spinning ......Sorry.  I had to try.  I wont lie....I liked it.Embarrassed  Cleared 12' and it really makes me get my knees bent and use them.  Hoping it translates into the WFD.

Would like to get in some throws.  Was able to throw only 30 min yesterday as the track / field area was used by the Parks n Rec camps.  Have a job to finish at the beach today, should be available later in the afternoon.  Txt me the time.

Threw some WOB and Sheaf with Al Dargie tonight.
Did some spinning WOB too.  Al looked great with it!!!
Learned some sheaf stuff too.  Have to just walk up and throw it.  No wasted time or energy.

Shocked

OS: 44+
HWFD: 34+
LWFD: 63+

WOB: 13. Smoaked the bar at 14 and would have cleared on a stationary bar but oh we'll.   Throw it higher!
Sheaf: 31. Crushed bar on way up at 33.   Should have had it.
Caber: 11:30. I'm a moron.   Should have pulled a 12.   Dumb.

Back to the grindstone...
LWFD:
No turns x 5
Cast and Drop x 5
One Turn x 10
Full Throws x 20
Really trying to work out the legs issue.  Did it ONCE.  Felt out of control but awesome.
Here is a pic of the usual suckfest.  This is when my left foot first touches after the initial cast.
Notice where the ball is........UG........ARRRRRRRR

Here is a pic of when I hit it right.  Taken when left foot first hits after the cast.  Sunk the legs.  Got the foot down.  Notice where the ball is here......hmmmmmmm

Now after this it all went to hell BUT I felt it....finally felt it.  Now need to replicate.....

Scott D has always told me fast hips.  Snap them around and the feet can land faster.

Worked yesterday at the HS and threw lwfd for about an hour trying to correct the suck fest that was my footwork last Saturday with that screwy trig.  Came back home and threw sheaf for about 30 minutes.

Today threw hwfd and shot for about 30 minutes.  Pretty much toast as this point.  Nothing more until Quechee on Saturday.
