Tim,

I think I understand what you are talking about. But one thing, do you change the arc of the weight from the slow arc of you few short swings. Or do you try to straighten out the line from the ground to the bar.

Now I am not makeing any sense either.

OK,now I have a question.I hit 12' pretty regular in competition.I've thrown it high enough a couple of times to clear 14'.But I can't seem to get it to go backwards over the bar to make the damn 13' mark.It's driving me crazy to hear "you more than had the height".What am missing?

probaly releasing too early at the end..( you want to be standing inverted C looking at the bar..hand over and behind head)

Terry-

I guess I never really thought of it.  When Sean first showed me how to do it he stressed the form and the timing but we never really talked about the "arc" per say.  I think if you get the first to down and get a solid finish (See DWoods post) then the arc will take care of itself.
