I like my knees enough that I would never wear cleats.

Think more... turf shoes.

Some like the Tanel 360 turf shoes. The RPM Lite G2 are very lightweight. I ended up buying a size larger than I normally wear.  They may run a little small.

See them online at www.tanel360.com

Javelin or high jump spikes with 1/4 inch spikes.

Just saying.

Leave the cleats at home.

Well, it figures that I'd see this post now.  Just recently had to purchase new footwear due to the blow-out (2nd time) on my 15+ year old cleats.  Didn't know what to go with, but knew I didn't want another pair of softball cleats.  Opted instead for some lacrosse footwear.  Not so sure now that was a good idea.Ermm

Adidas Turf hog low football turf shoes - last a few years and just enough grip and soft enough to stand on for 8 hours.
