Not much to report on the last few days.
I did some cleans and some jerks. I did a few squats and a few presses. Pretty much the same stuff as mentioned previously. I ran a mile or two several days a week and maintained a pretty solid pace on all of them that I am pretty proud of. This past week or so I did change things up by starting to throw a little earlier this season as well as more consistent practice. I very rarely practice events because of time constraints through out the day. However, this year I will be taking steps to remedy that. Heavy Hammer 4 sets walk and winds. Heavy Hammer 5 singles. 5 doubles, 5 triples really focusing on staying long and relaxed 90+ on all the doubles and triples. Light Hammer 10 triples all over 110' I feel that this was a good day I am spent from the gym and running when i get to practice so i know that in a game situation i will have backed off the lifting in order to peak for the games and therefore will be able to really relax, reach, and put a lot more on all of these throws. From my experience if i am throwing consistently 85's in the HH i usually hit close to 100' at a games. So consistent 90+ is a good practice number for me. I never throw Pr's in practice. I am always tight, tired, and sore.
