Thanks Todd, doing well considering. This will be a long term rehab, but I've been through it before. I've been doing some easy shoulder rehab throughout and using a micro current unit for 1 week.

Just felt ready to do some squatting today-felt pretty comfortable w/ the ssb. May be able to rock the lefty wob a bit this spring.

The real fun starts mid march when the PT kicks in.

I was just at PT this afternoon hitting the eliptical machine when I looked around and saw a sea of gray hair all around me. I laughed at myself and said "I can outlift anyone in this room!" Then I said to myself: "Baby steps Robin, baby steps."

Keep it up Big Don!

Don, Thanks for posting your progress. Your posts are something I look forward as motivation b/c I am coming off a shoulder surgery as well (fortunately, not a replacement...though the dr said that may happen one day).
Stay strong!

BJ - did so many variations back then it's hard to recall, but it was always a good movement for me along with rdl's stiff legs, back hypres, glute-hams raises. These were always done with a flat back bar down to hips. Not to be confused with some of the very short powerlifting g/m's

I did all kinds, i.e. seated, standing straight legs, bent knees, bent knee to toe extension/jump, full good morning squat, also bands and chains were used. But to your question- the wts were 315-405 with reps between 3-10. Never maxed out, with heavier wts it was about speed out of the bottom. Currently ( last week ) made 250 plus 12O chains x5 . Take em slow if your gonna incorporate.

2 years might be the time for a human, but no way will it take DD that long.  This is a freight train just coming out of the station and picking up steam.  They put the man way down deep in the valley, but the peak is in sight in front of him.  I put all my money on the table and say he gets back to a peak.

55 on 7/16. Body is a mess with joint pain.....recent conversation with Myles about said pain is helping. Trying to do static holds at various positions for all the upper body stuff. Shoulders feeling better this week. My son (16) joined me for some pulls he wanted to test today. He's been getting ready football and hitting some Judo tournaments.

Cole 135x3 225x1 315x1 425 x3 💪new record for him.
Don 225 10x2 sumo
Cole 225 x3 push press record for him.

We both did the Ed Coan circute rows pull down GM and stiff legs... some hanging static bicep towel holds at 90 degrees for the son - working those DT arm strength move.

We both had our shot at the Russian Kettelbell 10 min 2 arm snatch test. Swing a 24 kg KB 2 arm snatch for 10 mins. My son getting close to the 5 min mark I hit 3 mins. We used a 45 lb. My son does this 2x a week at Judo class. I usually do 3, 1 min bouts. Baab will do this tonight in his driveway.

Got it Mike - we moved his left leg up to get it under his hip getting more extension power now. Should help at DE as well 3 rd and long. Kept my eye on Herschel Walker at those NCAAs - dude was a shot out of a cannon. Not easy.
