Warm Up

DE Squat (w/ 3 second pause)

135x5, 135x5, 225x5, 225x5, (start pauses) 275x3, 275x3, 275x3, 275x3, 275x3, 275x3, 275x3 275x3, 225x20. Felt very strong outta the hole here but towards the last sets it was harder. I need the practice as out of the hole is the weakest part of my squat. Then I decided to be a rep hero. Quadz.

Neutral Grip Pull Ups

5,5,5,5 felt like I needed to do pull ups again this week.

DB Step Ups (Onto bench)

45sx8 each, 45sx8 each, 45sx8 each.

Smoked. Breathing heavy. Taco salad for dinner.

Warm Up

DE Dead Lift (from 2" deficit)

135x8, 135x5, 225x5, 225x5, 225x5, (add deficit) 315x3, 315x3, 315x3, 315x3, 315x3, 315x3, 315x3, 315x3 felt fast. Faster than last time. Wanted to add deficit to work on my off the floor speed.

Hang Snatch Grip High Pulls

225x2, 245x2, 265x2, 275x2, 275x2 wanted to go higher but I was barely getting the bare nipple height at 275. Need to keep doing these as I feel more and more pop every week.

Bent Over Rows

225x8, 225x8, 225x8

DB Curls/Russian Twists w/ 45# plate

40sx10/50, 40sx10/50, 40sx10

Seated Box jumps (18" to 24")

3x8

ME Bench Press

135x8, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 225x3, 275x2, 315x1, 325x2, 325x2, 330x2, 330x2, 330x2, 225x19 the plan was to do 315 for the sets of 2 but I was feeling quite good. With no spotter I felt comfortable at 330. Probs should have done 335. Meh.

Chin Ups

5,5,5,5 pretty easy

DB Incline

90sx8, 90sx8, 90sx8, 90sx8

Cable Flys

3x10

Stretching.

I like the BB additions I've added to my bench day but I might wanna start doing more mobility work for shoulders if I don't wanna lose ROM. That or cut down on the BB. But my pecs look so gooooood.

Tough day today.

Warm Up

ME Squat

135x8, 135x5, 225x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x3, 365x1, 385x2, 385x2, 385x2, 385x2, 385x2, 315x10 holy hell. 385 felt heavy. Like way more heavy than it should have. But I got em. Then punished my weakness with rep out at 315. I don't know how I can do 315 for 10 but struggle with 2 at 70 more pounds. More work to do.

Neutral Grip Pull Ups

5,5,5,5 cant explain how happy I am to be able to do non-assisted pull ups now

DB Split Squat @ 55s

3x8 each leg

Russian Twist/Toe Touches w/ 45# plate

50/30 ran outta time. Smoked. No track practice tomorrow so I may try and throw ooooor do a shoulder BB day. Either way it'll be a good ass Friday.

Today was rough. Again.

Warm Up

ME Dead Lift

135x8, 135x5, 225x5, 225x5, 315x3, 405x2, 455x1,495x1 was a grinder. Shouldn't have been. I wanted to do 4 more singles here but I knew that would be dumb. Dropped to 405 and went to snatch grip. 405x2, 405x2, 405x2, 405x2.

Snatch Grip Hang High Pulls

225x3, 225x3, 225x3, 225x3 chin height.

DB Rows

120x10, 120x10, 120x10

Russian Twists and stretching.

Upon reflection, I should have waited until tomorrow because of how beat up I felt after heavy squats Thurs. But alas sometimes your mind gets the better of you. I will make sure to be more prepared next ME cycle.

Warm Up

24" Box Jumps

3x8

DE Bench Press

135x8, 135x5, 185x5, 185x5, 225x5, 265x3, 265x3, 265x3, 265x3, 265x3, 265x3, 265x3, 265x3 felt very fast.

DB Incline

90sx8, 95sx8, 95sx8, 100sx8

Stretching...a lot. Pissed off my psoas yesterday and my hip/low back was a bit angry today. Really stretched it and mobilized it, even faked a bit of traction with a band and I calmed it down somewhat. Chiro appointment Wednesday. Gonna need it after shoveling 31"+ of snow tomorrow and Wednesday. Good times...

There was shoveling.

At one point I dropped 5 pounds in an hour and a half. So much cardio.

Gonna try and squat tomorrow...try being the operative word.

I usually train alone and with my shoulder I don't push it to failure ever. So 19 is what I was good with today...again lol.

Like 298 this morning. Kind of plateauing here. Going to add in some HIIT in the coming weeks when I have more time to train (when track is over) to try and drop the last 8 pounds. I'd like to plateau around 290 preferably.

Warm Up

ME Dead Lift

135x8, 225x5, 225x5, 315x3, 315x3, 405x2, 405x2, 455x1, 475x1, 495x1, 515x1, 405x10 not bad. Wanted to try for a new PR but 515 felt slow so I called it. I changed up my feet a bit, I was pulling with my feet maybe 6"-8" a part and noticed a lot of taller dead lifters had their feet slightly wider. It worked very well, I could drop my butt lower and use more legs/glutes.

Snatch High Pulls from floor

185x3, 185x3, 185x3, 185x3, 185x3 started to feel myself switch to a faster gear here. Pulling theser about chin to eye height.

T-Bar Rows

4x10 ending with 6 25's on the bar.

Leg Lifts x60 reps
Reverse Hypers on Swiss ball x30 reps
Band Pull A parts x30 reps

Resting for a little before I go out to shovel more...
