Showing how long its been since I posted on my training log. Just now seeing this, Bill! I'm thinking next year I may do a dozen less games. Feeling beat up and eager to get back into the gym regularly.

After a fun day at the first ever Allison Woods games in Statesville, NC I figured some post-game superlight squats would be nice. hour in the gym, 20 minutes cardio, light squats for reps

With the amount of cheese I put in my grits you could probably get biodiesel from my veins!
12/9 Incline bench push press cable flys, one arm at a time to incorporate core mirror muscles(bis/tris) palloff press abs some vid of the push presses...I actually PR'd (I think, like I rememebr...) on the 230 but my buddy didn't get the camera going until I had it locked out so..... 230 fail 235 fail 230 PR I don't see any pop!...looks like Im moving in slow motion.

On the misses, you threw them out in front. Gotta throw them right over your head. When I do heavy overhead work, I try to barely miss my chin on the way up and I push my head through as soon as the bar is out of the way.

I have 20 years of mirror muscle gymrat training and all this REAL lifting is like starting over again. But I'm loving it. I see what you guys here are doing and just try to ape it. Hopefully I'm not too old to still learn new tricks. |

so...leg day elliptical for 10 minutes to get up the heart rate front squats, started with the bar, up in 10lb increments, sets of 3, to 225 back squats, moved up to 385x1 for a PR! woohoo. Want to hit 400 by my birthday, that'll be nice donkey kicks and then leg presses to finish out |

Bill, I have over 200 lbs of venison in the fridge now. and yes, i WILL be going hunting again this year. There's ducks, rabbit and coyotes to kill yet.
Dragging them uphill blew my right knee up like a water ballon too! I've developed a Bakers cyst over the past year, not too happy about it.

In NC we can kill 6 per year. They aren't as big as the monsters you guys have but 3 will get me through the year...unless I kill more then it's gonna be a party!
