Still rehabbing the hip. Lots of hip thrusting, clamshells, monster walks, stretching, box squats and foam rolling. The occasional upper body, light lifting. Will continue this for at least a week, maybe two.

Weird. Psoas stretches cause a intense burning sensation along the sciatic sheath along the outside of the thigh. So I don't do them.
Still some hip joint pain, but daily stretching and foam rollering and flexibility exercises are helping. Lifting as much as possible. No deadlifting yet. :>(

early February since I did any log entries
Lemme splain...no there is too much, lemme sum up;
Yoga, flexibility, squats, side sprints, one highland game, one demo, different gym because it's cleaner and has more and better equipment, and one-arm dumbbell work instead of barbell to force more core work. Starting to wean off of coffee because it gives me stomach upset. Cut down some practice cabers, fixed the Scout, went muddin', hauled the other Scout up the hill, Buttercup is marry Humperdink in little less than half an hour and I still haven't learned how to embed code or killed Count Rogan. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yokQ0_8__ts" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

The hip is progressing along tolerably. I'm mostly functional now and the pain is infrequent unless I stand or walk about for too long. Then it can flare up and be stiff for a few days, like right now. The last 2 days I built a deck for my parents and that got it a bit ignant but not terribly so.. Slow but steady, not trying to push it. Mobility exercises and less use have been working. Thanks for asking Paul!

Due to the lack of log entries it may seem like I haven't been training, but I assure you, shit is getting real...just ask Scott Burnside.

Tom, all the Great Ones have a manly yell. I'm just trying to keep up. When I'm done with Qu Hee Do, I will be unstopable.
