I worked up to a max today in the Hang Power Snatch and got a new PR of 200 lbs.  I had 205 over head but couldn't stick it...

Thanks Sean.  I just couldn't hang on to the 205.  It will motivate me to train for it though.  Hopefully I can make it in to EPTS this week.

I went to the park with all of the kids.  While the little ones played on the playground Dalton and I worked on his 40 starts and shuttle runs for the up coming combine he has this weekend.  Then we worked on shot together with his 12 lb shot (I've never thrown a shot).  It was great throwing with him!  He was even able to see that I was throwing too flat which helped.  We worked on him vaulting over his front foot because he pretty much only landing on and using his back leg to put the shot. He's slowly getting it and when he does he'll be out throwing me, which is a huge motivation whether he wants to admit it or not:-)  The old and busted man threw 43' yesterday while the new, hotness got out to 41'.  That won't last long though based on how his training has been going.

First throws since last year in McPherson.  Not great but not horrible.  I feel that I'm searching for my positions instead of just hitting them and going.  My strength is up so hopefully I can transfer that and stay healthy i.e. no shoulder or ankle issues.
