Been training cross fit x2 per week, mon and wed for several weeks. Been getting 3 morning sessions in focusing on rehab/prehab shoulders, knees and ankles. Saturday has been pull day staying in the 315 range with GM and Stiffs, Rows and Pull Down for accessories.

No throwing of late

Week 2 of second Coan cycle

Deads 275 3x3 ( staying light and fast for a few weeks)

KB swings cool down 97 2x20

Cross Fit mon and wed this week.

Cross fit pull volume is crazy hi, exp last week probably did 200 plus pull reps ( power snatch sumo hi pull power clean etc. ) between 125 - 185.

Week 5 Coan

Upper Back circut pull downs, seated machine rows, Db rows - light light 20-25 reps 5 cycles.

? My reaction to...... your thoughts. My son was ejected from the JV game Sat. He got the varsity start at RT OT and played well in a close loss. Anyways to the incident - some late pushing blah blah and my son who was playing DE decided to DDT the TE. The young man TE was doing the throw the yellow flag motion and my son snapped. The boy has some stand up as he's been training Judo since he was 7. So the TE was pile drived into the turf, my son ejected from the game and I've never been more proud of my 15 year old. The way home was a celebration of food and a violent video game purchase from game stop- black ops ..... I had a pumpkin sam beer on my porch and a cheap cigar. Life's Good! He's gonna pay as this will get to the top - this behavior isn't tolerated in a private catholic school. Dean Martin will call him in and sanction him.

the first thing that pops into my head, I wish Don had video. I used to tell my nephews that high school football is the one time of your life that you can tackle and hit other folks as hard and as much as you can. Take advantage of it.

Good stuff Don   as a former high school varsity football coach used to tell the kids this is the one time in life when you can smash someone in the face(and we expect you to do it with class) but stuff happens and I can see your pride  sometimes you gotta send a message to the other team!Tkaitlyn was a senior in her next to last basketball game and playing our rival hs,well for years the forward on the other team had thrown illegal picks/elbows kaitlyns way well ball goes up and kaitlyn and the girl go up but kaitlyn just launches a haymaker knocking fiona to the ground  no foul called classic  they met a year later in a college game  the girl had learned her lesson play hard but clean vs kaitlyn and all will be well  lol

First lets address the fact the boy is playing on the varsity.  Clearly the squat program and the fact the boy loves to dead is working.  What an honor and reward for hard work.  Kid is going to be a bulldozer by the time he is a senior.  Do I hear coach Saban calling?

And now let's move into the teaching mode.  Your son did not throw the boy down, he lost his balance and grabbed the boy and they both fell.  The same thing happened, it was just explained wrong the first time.  Accidents happen to us all as we know.

Thanks Myles, yes package received the morning. The boy will be home about 5:30 to open up.

Fallout: The OL/DL coach who is also the AD who is pushing 80 yrs old is a Korean War Vet is ready to adopt the kid. Sounds like he has the green light to me- lol

BC getting tired of that act. UMass UConn will eventually catch up move past IMO. More D1 options for the local kids.
