LOL I didn't think anyone noticed.....

I over did it squatting and stone lifting Last Wednesday which tightened my back all weekend! Stupid!!!

HWFD.... FOUL x 3 40'ish...Go fig
LWFD .... Foul 1 turn to stay in...52' 3rd throw 54 +
BACK is seizing

Hammer
1 wind HH 70' Best HH in years....lol
LH not so good 85'

Caber....
I knew I was screwed here....
Ray Mabey is one of the best caber men in the PNW... he decided to pick a 19'6" 85 pound stick for Challenge...
I ran as fast as I could and turned it twice... much to my surprise and his Horror....lol
A's used same caber the next day... only 1 guy turned it.... felt pretty good about that...
OS Just Braemered it for the win there at 30+
WOB....Side sling had to make sure I was on the board... came in at 10...11...12...13.... just missed 14... pulled the pin on the day

I got super lucky and Tied Ray in points but had most firsts plus caber....
Fun day
Best game of the year every year for me.... I love Victoria!

My off season strength work paid off.... I felt VERY strong on my pulls with the weights and the Caber.... if I had been able to stay in... I think I was on track for 40/58+

My lifting is going well.... throwing at least 1 time a week. Im good with it
Next 2 games Im not throwing in. AD with Bret for Bellingham and Tacoma HG.
My goal for the season is to win my class caber in all comps to include Enumclaw, Pleasanton, and MWC. With the way my strength training is going coupled with the amout of caber practice I am able to do... Basicall my yard anytime I want. I should be in a good position to do so.

Paused Bench Squat at 570 followed by Oly High bar paused squats. Again the pause allows me to engage hips and quads more for some explosive lifts.
