I was there the night Odden jumped from truck bed to truck bed in the parking lot of Lumpy's.  Kid's got ups.  I'm sure some of the trucks had people in them making out or whatev.

"SEE DUNCAN!!!  I'M AN ATHLETE!!!"

Sproing.

Then we stopped at an ATM.

Got to love the inside jokes Stewart and McCallum. I don't think we ever found the ATM that evening. This year I think I will try to change my image by trying to actually lift heavy stuff instead of just jumping on boxes. ha ha. It does have a functional carry over when I need to leap over small women in a single bound though.

Actually I will probably be known as the "kettlebell guy" now that I have been doing almost exclusive KB training for the last phase of my rehab. One of my coworkers is an RKC and he has really helped open my eyes to TRUE kettlebell training. The RKC is the real deal. Tested my maxes the other day and my strength was suprisingly good for not having squatted heavy for over 6 months. Started working with John Gallagher this week for some new training ideas and fine tuning with my Power Factor training.

Jay- keep up the hard work! I'm sure the Power Factor will be a great addition to your training.

That 22' barrier seems to be more common than I first
realized. That's right where I am too.

Beech you are in Austin, yes?  Make a journey to the Baablands.  He'll make it all better.

Be sure to ask him about the time Austin P.D. almost gunned him down at sheaf practice.

Hey Jay, how does someone get in on one of these sheaf sessions? I'm making it my mission to stop sucking at sheaf next year, and I'd love to get some pointers.

No Jay don't do it, we need at least one event up on Dan.  Just kidding, Dan I think it is good you are working on the sheaf, Jay will have lots of drills that will help you.

Dec 3,2011

Squats.

PF with 230 pounds 5 sets of 3. Fastest was 3.9 ft/sec

Felt like pushing heavy weight...

275 x 5

325 x 5

405 x 3

475 x2

505 x3

550 x 1  video on facebook and youtube

Ive learned after 30 years of lifting, that regardless of what my program wants me to do, if my body says to stop or to lift heavy I listen to it. If Im hungry I eat, if Im thirsty I drink.

Front squats

185 x 5

225 x 5

275 x 3

315 x 2
