I am and always will be a gear whore.  He is all of the things that fill my games box and where you can get them.

You forgot a couple things. Gibbs rule #9, and a pair of scissors and some extra shoe laces.

Me too.

I accidentally carry most of this stuff in my gym bag.  I need tacky, more tape, and some javelin or indoor soccer shoes.

I don't think I'm at the skill level to carry around a bag of goodies (though I would like to get some tacky), but it's good to see what sort of things the top dogs are carrying.
I'm just an idiot, pretending to be smart.

Re: Carry around...
You and me both.   I'll show up with a sandwich, a bottle of water and some band aids.  :D

Hell, I still have to figure out where I get a kilt that doesn't weigh 20lbs (like my Utilikit).

Check Sport kilt.  Those guys have taken care of me as well as sponsored some local games.  There kilts are made of a more light weight material.

this is the stuff I use. I feel it works just as good as tacky with less cleanup and easier application. Spray it, let it set for a minute and boom nice and sticky. It will however build up a nice thick lining on your gloves and eventually be rendered useless. I figure gloves are $5, I'll buy a new pair of gloves every 4-6 months.

Great article as always Matt! I always pack GOO Gone for tacky removal. Some guys use orange hand cleaner or even WD40.

What about the extra strength gold bond?  Just rub a little on the yam satchell before your first event and every time you get a little breeze up the kilt it's like winter in your underpants.
