They'll get a chance to continue the match at Pleasanton before the BIg Dance at Loon Mtn.

Nice job Dan! Being the first man to win multiple IHGF titles since Ryan Vierra is mighty impressive.
I always figured it would be a two horse race, and it might have been a different outcome if Matso hadn't been messing around in Scotland last week. I guess we'll find out this weekend.

Dave, as you should know, the name that goes on the Webster Trophy at Loon Mtn. will be the next in the World Champion succession. It remains to be seen if we have another repeat Champion.

The bar has been set so high that I don't think any games can come close to Dana Point. To say we were taken care of is an understatement. Perfect place to throw, huge crowd and the best athletes on the planet. All of this done by two of the best throwers to ever live.. And now two of the best ADs.

The arguments about the REAL worlds can go on forever on nasga. But in the end the athletes know what one it really is. That's all that matters.

Though they will add one more.....The only man to beat both Matt and Dan this year.

Ryan, I'm just trying to keep it straight...if Ryan and Francis want to start a new World Championship then it should be just that, to say it's a continuation of the prior (Webster/IHGF) championships is wrong. That contest will be held in Loon Mtn., note: when Ryan won most of his World Championships the words IHGF were not mentioned...Loon Mtn will be the 34th World Scottish Heavy Events Championships, Dana Point was the 1st Vierra/Brebner IHGF Worlds. I'm not sure why they wouldn't want to take credit for their own successful event instead of trying to piggyback off of David Websters' endeavors.

Dan won the IHGF World Championships last year, and then he won the IHGF World Championships this year. Repeat IHGF World Champion. Pure and simple. Congratulations Dan! Good luck at Pleasanton, and Loon, and whereever else you throw this season.
Cheers,

Carlos

Matt Vincent won IGHF World Championship last year. Dan won the year before that.

Thanks jsully, my mistake. But the point stands - multiple IHGF World Champion - as noted by East Coast Dave B, Esquire.

Cheers,

Carlos

Hence the confusion...the next name that will follow Matt Vincent's in the succession of World Champions on the list going back 34 years will be determined at Loon Mtn. Congrats to Dan McKim for his win at the Vierra/ Brebner IHGF Worlds.
