Let the Border Battle begin and bring on the Heavy Events. The Can-Am Championship Registration is now open for Athletics at the 54th Bellingham Highland Games. www.bhga.org for the registration link.

Another great year of competition is ...on it's way. Amateur classes will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Men's A, B and all Women's classes on Saturday. Men's Lightweight, Novice/C and Masters are Sunday. For those interested in learning the games or adding skill there will be a Throwing Clinic Friday evening led by 2013 Champion Ryan Stewart.

Highlighting the Weekend will be the 2nd Annual Can-Am Professional Spring Championship and Border Battle on Saturday. Last year surprises abounded with the Canadian team chewing up the Americans in a surprise Sheaf domination but it wasn't enough to keep Team USA out of the money. USA 1 - Canada 0 what will 2014 bring? An Amazing Line Up, That's What!

Bellingham Games has always been the Can/Am Spring Championship...lol  We went with the same theme for the Pro event.
