I'm 63 looking to try highland games. I've got 30+
years in masters sports. Track and field, powerlifting
and strongman. In track I threw everything from shot, disc
javelin and weight throws. I need a meet with a 50+ or 60+
division? Can anyone help?

Track and Field and Powerlifting have meets.  We have games.

The weights for the Master's class changes at age 40, so any game with a master's class would have you throwing the appropriate weights.  You do not need to find a specific game that only has a 60+ division.  Take a look in the database, there are tons of games out there.

Rockford has a couple of events run by Jason Clevenger (JCLEV username on this board)

Springfield Area Highland Games (Chathum, IL) would be the next games.  See www.ancientathletics.com    Ancient Athletics always treats the masters very well and should have the divisions you are looking for.  Earlier this year, the Shamrock Games had 40-44, 45-49 and 50+ division.   Last year's May games had a 40-44 and 45-49 division.

In addition to NASGA's database, I have a website which has a calender of events in the midwest at http://www.iowahighlandgames.org/
