Ok so my almost 4 year old has become very interested in the games, he has been reenacting the games scene from Brave for almost the past year now.
My question is what age is good to start him and what are the guidelines for the wee ones? |

Some games have children's activities and events, and he could certainly participate.
Not sure what you're asking above that, given that he's 3 years old. |

I wouldn't start him out on the 56. Probably you should use the 42 for HWFD and WOB.

Several off our implement crafters make kid sized stuff, but at that age seems a bit young even for those.

Seems a weighted sippy cup for distance is reasonable, you can teach him glide or S African w that as I think full spin for 3 way too advanced. My kid had some good distance from a chair w no training.

We had foam cabers made over here in Scotland for use in Primary Schools (5-11 years) and they are a very useful addition to any Games Committee's set of equipment. They are VERY popular with media photographers in the run up to our Games and on the day of the Games.
This link is worth a look as it show the Games that have been created around our traditional events for kids and also shows some interesting additional Games that can be organised

They have used the foam cabers that Gerry mentioned at the Texas Scottish Festival as well. The kids go nuts for it.
