It is with a heavy heart that I have to say that I will no longer be taking orders. I am going to finish all of the current orders and then stop making bags and forks for the near future. I haven't been able to stay up with orders and that isnt fair to my customers or my family. I hope you all understand. IF I start up again it will be under different circumstances. Thank you all for 7 years of calluses and sore hands.

Understood, but now the obvious question...where to get sheaves?

My wife is going to try and sew one for me. You'll likely be back in business before she finishes that project. Enjoy the family. You only have so many years that the kids want you in their lives. I gave up a throwing session yesterday to play catch with my 8 year old. I had a blast.

Major bummer! Family IS important.

However, how dare your day job interfere with your calling to make sheaves/forks (presuming that this was not your day job)--<G>!

I guess we'll have to keep refurbing our sheaves ourselves. Thanks for the nice 10# one I have!

Charge triple the amount per sheaf. I bet you would still get about 1/3 the orders, but only need 1/3 the time...make the same $.  Ha!

Thanks for all the work you did on these. Having only made 4 sheaf bags ever, I don't know how you lasted this long. :-)
