Looking forward to my final competition of the year. I am bringing one,if not, two newbies.
I also believe this will determine the winner of the inaugural North East amateur Scottish Games League championship. See you guys there |

Hey guys, I have a buddy competing for the first time. He doesn't have a kilt, and I can't find my extra one. Does anybody have an extra that he can borrow for the day. I would guess a 30/32 inch waist. He's almost a lightweight. Or if anybody has a 38 waist kilt that I can borrow and he can wear mine, since its adjustable.
Thanks, |

Scott, Hapy,Al, Ken. How did it go? Great weather and one of the coolest low key historic New England games. Give us the scoop. Little bird said some kid showed up for junior class(one of the few games that a) has a junior class and B) let's them throw in regular rotation with top amtrs/masters/women in the Northeast)

Beautiful last game of the season. Thank you Ken, Jenna and Al Wilder for running the games and scoring.
Actually 2 throwers in the Jr division - Justin Waddell and young Bill Crawford. Both did very well. I don't remember who won for women, but big Bill won the Ams. We had about 10 or so masters throwing. Scott D took first, Hapy 2nd, Doc Bill got 3rd and me with 4th. Don't remember the rest of the shakeout. Dana was throwing, we had a Robert Troupe showing from the sideline and all that was missing was Erik. |

Now if I knew Dr Bill was going to show would have driven 25 miles(was elsewhere in CT) and would have showed to cheer everyone on. But I'm not privy to those hints! Awesome games run by the best sorry I missed it

A spectacular fall day in Scotland .... Judy and I enjoyed seeing some old friends (really missed you, Dan and Terri).... eating a meat pie and bridie, and thinking seriously about getting back in shape to throw ...... watching the competition sure stokes some old fires .....

Dana Florence threw and Robert Troupe showing up, Wayne Pogany coming to say hello, and many of my old friends there made it like old home day. Great to be out there but I was there to help my son as he is getting started. Billy threw great. I am really interested in helping out in future competitions and leave the actual throwing to my son.
Sorry we could not have seen you Dan, maybe next time. Bill
