Really Sad.  Glad I was fortunate enough to get my name on that plaque (right after Hollywood Don Stewarts).

This is sad but true.
My first game I threw, First game I ran.
Let's hope someone in Vt can rescue this game.

In 2011 I published "Scotland's Highland Games: Challenges In An Aging Society" which focused on the Games Organising Committees. I really hoped that things were going to be different in the USA but with news of every cancellation it seems like the same forces which led to us losing 20% of Scotland's Highland Games between 2000 and 2010 are causing problems over there. Clearly there are numerous reasons why Games wind up but for me I keep finding the bottom line seems to be that a number of Baby Boomer age organisers are retiring or expiring or simply running out of steam. Difficult days ahead for some.

ROUND HILL AT LIME ROCK! The word is out - we have a new beautiful venue in the hills of Litchfield CT at Lime Rock Park for a 2-day highland games on June 25-26. More to come! We are updating the website for registration to begin. Please spread the good word!

Round hill moving near Goshen.

Also, I think there will be a demo at Old Orchard Beach, ME.
